The lake, fishing and stories of kings

Lake Tours from the Mainland

Have you been to both Chiemsee islands or you simply don’t have enough time to do this during your stay in Prien? Not a problem, why not join us on a 1 hour walk.
The route leads us from the port at Prien Stock about 500 metres towards the shore path. This relaxing pathway takes us along the shore and is also suitable for wheelchairs or people with limited mobility. Here you are sure to find out a few things that you won’t know. Or do you know how much water the lake contains? Which secret way the King used to get to Herreninsel? What is the story behind the famous ray-finned fish? Or the interesting history of the Chiemsee railway?

You will get all the answers to these and any other questions you might have on this brief tour. If you are interested, don’t hesitate to get in touch:
